Be a part of Kingdom Hope’s inaugural “Kick Off” clinics Aug. 22nd

To launch the work of Kingdom Hope, Steve Zakuani will offering a limited number of 2 hour soccer clinics on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Robinswood Park in Bellevue. These clinics will for children and adult players of varying skill levels and experience.

Our first two clinics will be for children ages 9-12 and for the newer adult player. Clinics will have a maximum of 40 participants.

Kingdom Hope Announces the Hiring of Executive Director

Seattle, WA – July 9, 2010

- Kingdom Hope is pleased to announce that it has hired Garrick Pang as its Executive Director.  Garrick is a Seattle native and has travelled extensively across the world playing soccer including four years in England.  He has run soccer camps for more than twenty years, played at Seattle Pacific University, served as the men’s soccer coach at Northwest University, has coaching credentials from the English F.A. and is still active as a player and coach.  He brings to Kingdom Hope a strong background in non-profit management, fundraising, business, higher education and a heart for the underserved populations in our community and around the world.

Kingdom Hope was birthed in March of this year by Steve Zakuani, starting midfielder for Seattle Sounders FC.  Steve was born in the Congo, grew up in London, and played for the University of Akron, where he led NCAA Division I soccer in scoring his sophomore year in 2008.  Steve was then selected as the number one draft pick by Sounders FC in the MLS Superdraft in 2009.  Steve is living his dream after having come from very humble beginnings through the kindness and generosity of people and those who mentored him.  His dream for Kingdom Hope is to help others have opportunities by INSPIRING GREATNESS THROUGH SOCCER (See http://kingdom-hope.org)

Sounders FC’s Steve Zakuani followed winding path to fulfill soccer dreams
